AnywhereNow is renewing the certificates used by our Dialogue Cloud Session Border Controllers (SBCs) as part of our transition to DigiCert certificate management and automated renewal.
Please review your infrastructure and confirm that the DigiCert G2 root certificate is installed before your region’s renewal date. If it is not yet installed, you must install it before that date to avoid service interruption.
If you have confirmed that the DigiCert G2 root certificate is already installed, no further action is required for this renewal.
Maintenance Details:
The certificate renewal will take place on the following dates at midnight depending on your service region:
EMEA-SZN: 17 November EMEA-WEU: 28 November NORA-CUS: 28 November APAC-AUE: 12 December APAC-SEA: 12 December NORA-EU2: 12 December
A separate maintenance announcement will be published for each region.
User Impact:
Customers who have already installed the DigiCert G2 root certificate do not need to take further action for this renewal.
Without the DigiCert G2 root certificate, connectivity with our SBCs will be interrupted after the renewal, and dialogues and calls will not work. Service will remain affected until the DigiCert G2 root certificate is installed.
Additional Recommendation: Prepare for DigiCert G5.
Additionally, we encourage you to install the DigiCert TLS Root G5 certificate and ensure it is trusted in your environment at your earliest convenience. Installation instructions are included in the DigiCert root certificate article linked above. Keep the DigiCert G2 root certificate installed when adding G5.
Why is this recommended? Although DigiCert G5 is not required for the SBC certificate renewal described above, DigiCert is transitioning its public TLS certificate issuance from the existing G2/G3 hierarchies to the newer G5 hierarchy. The G2/G3 hierarchies are planned to be phased out during 2027. Preparing your environment now helps maintain certificate trust during this transition.
